Astro Solutions is a Vedic Jyotisha platform built around a single principle — the math should be exactly right, and the interpretation should feel like sitting with a learned acharya. We compute on Swiss Ephemeris (the same engine used by Jagannatha Hora and Drik Panchang) with the Lahiri Chitra Paksha ayanamsha, and we layer an AI trained on classical sources for the explanatory voice.

The four sections

• Jathaka — Natal chart, Vimshottari Dasha, six-component Shadbala, Ashtakavarga, eight divisional charts (D1–D60), Arudha Lagna, AI interpretation.
• Muhurta — Electional astrology for 25+ events (Marriage, Upanayana, House Warming, Vehicle Purchase, Land Purchase, Travel, Business Start etc.) with precise minute-level Lagna Shuddhi micro-timing, Lattadi 10-line analysis and Navamsha Shuddhi for Marriage and allied samskaras.
• Prashna — Horary chart cast at the moment of inquiry, Tajika yoga analysis (Ithasala, Isarafa, Nakta) per Dr B V Raman's Practical Horary Astrology.
• Match Making — Ashtakuta Guna Milan (36 points), Lagna and Saptama Maitri, plus a full Mangal Dosha audit with classical cancellations.

Why it matches a real panchanga

Our muhurta engine is calibrated against Drik Panchang's published 2026 lists. For Vivaha in New Delhi we hit ~91% recall (54 of 59 published shubh days), for Griha Pravesha ~95% (35 of 37). The remaining gap is mostly Drik's proprietary Lattadi colour-coding which we approximate via the standard 10-line analysis from Muhurta Chintamani's Vivaha Prakarana.

The Ashtakuta tables (Gana, Nadi, Yoni, Varna, Vashya) are validated byte-for-byte against canonical Brihat Samhita / Muhurta Chintamani — every single nakshatra mapping is correct. The Vimshottari starting-lord seeding uses the standard 365.25-day Julian year per Parashari practice, matching Jagannatha Hora's dasha tables.

What's classical, what's AI

The math — planetary longitudes, Lagna, dashas, divisional charts, dosha detection, Lagna Shuddhi micro-timing — is 100% deterministic Swiss Ephemeris + classical formulas. There is zero AI in the calculation layer.

The interpretation — what your chart means, what remedies fit your situation, how to read a muhurta verdict — is generated by a language model with system-prompts grounded in Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Muhurta Chintamani and Practical Horary Astrology. We instruct the model to never invent doshas and to cite the divisional chart it's reading.
